Israeli Ministry of Defense uses PowerPlug Pro software Solution.
After presenting PowerPlug Pro’s advanced range of possibilities, among those, in cutting costs and energy in PCs, the Ministry of Defense decided to implement PowerPlug Pro.
Back in 2009, Israel set a target of achieving 5% green electricity by 2014 and 10% by 2020. The government continues to promote clean energy ventures, which also lower electricity prices. The Ministry of defense has many divisions offering high-end government services. This project together with PowerPlug Ltd. Enables saving of approximately 2 million kWh and prevents more than 1 million tons of CO2 emissions, less alone lowering costs in electricity bills that can reach high levels of NIS (New Israeli shekels) each year.
The Ministry of Defense considers the project to be an important one.
“We are excited to announce that the Ministry of Defense decided to purchase PowerPlug Pro. I am confident that this decision will be a strong strategic fit to drive innovation and provide a financial impact on PC power consumption”, said Eyal Yechieli, PowerPlug Ltd.’s CEO.
