PowerPlug was one of eleven IoT companies visiting Japan as part of a delegation hosted by the Israel Innovation Authority and METI, the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry of Japan.
PowerPlug Ltd, a leader in energy management software solutions, was selected by MATIMOP, the Israeli Industry Center for R&D, to join 10 other companies attending the Israeli IoT Delegation to Japan. The initiative was organized and led by the Israel Innovation Authority’s Japan-Israel Cooperation Program, in collaboration with METI, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan. The delegation visited Tokyo & Osaka during the second week of July 2016, as part of a roadshow including networking and industry events, during which they met with local Japanese companies including FUJITSU, NEC, and HITACHI.
PowerPlug was selected to present the company’s upcoming new product – PowerCloud, a new cloud platform that will help companies of all sizes monitor, control, and optimize the power consumption of pluggable devices within their organization.
“The Japanese market is very strategic to us both because of its size and its culture; this is a market with huge companies, all demonstrating great awareness and willingness to contribute to saving the environment. We see this delegation as an amazing opportunity for us to meet with Japanese companies, learn about the special requirements within this market and start building strong business relationships for a better future,” said Eyal Yechieli, PowerPlug’s CEO.
